hey great ..... new design tada ..... whatever....
but I am missing a few features.
How do I unsubscribe from a thread
How do I mark my thread as "Solved".
maybe you should go back to the old forum, at least it worked.

Those are being worked on. See the other threads on it in the Forum Feedback and Help.
The old forum would have crashed because of the very high amount of forum activity.

What happened to the "Unanswered Posts" button in the help sections? I can't seem to find it. :(
I'm assuming that's in the works too right?

if you go to 'subscribed threads' via 'quick links' you can tick a box and delete a subscribed thread from there.

thanks mate that helped. was getting overwhelmed by threads I was not interested in anymore.

YES If you're reading this (mods) please don't forget to include the "unanswered posts" feature in the final version of this forum. I loved that feature and it really gave forgotten posts a chance to be read by someone.

if you go to 'subscribed threads' via 'quick links' you can tick a box and delete a subscribed thread from there.
Also, if you are already in the subscribed thread, and you are too lazy (like me) to go back to the subscribed threads folder, just click the "subscribe to thread" option in thread tools, then change the URL part from "addsubscription" to "removesubscription" and leave everything else the same and then press enter. That works too it seems.
