desktop 8.04 is working fairly well for me so far, on the one machine i'm running it on anyway. that means i might want to upgrade a couple other machines from 7.10 too, fairly soon.
but: one of those machines is running desktop ubuntu, and i'd like it to run server; the other one is running kubuntu, and i'd like it to run regular desktop. preferably without having to reinstall from scratch and lose all the settings and configurations.
is there any easy way to switch from one variant of ubuntu to another while upgrading to Hardy?
