1 - fingerprint readr will not ask for swipe at login. have installed thinkfinger and have put my print in and tested it but it wont ask for it .. ever.

2 - World of Warcraft i finally got installed and patched up but the login screen is all glichy and weird like. if anyone has a WTF file that works for them i would LOVE a copy. and probably name at least 1 of my children after you. am running the new hardy!

Don't know about the fingerprint reader. Launchpad may have a solution.

Not sure about the WoW issue. You may need a different graphics driver. You don't say what graphics card you have. There are several available for your laptop, including nvidia. If you have the nvidia, you might check out some of the nvidia-glx drivers in synaptic...same goes for ATI.

If you suspect your WTF is corrupted all you need to do is delete it and WOW will generate a default one when it starts up.

I recommend renaming the WTF file rather than deleting it just in case that isn't the issue. That way you can restore it and maintain any custom settings you may have had
