As someone who troubleshoots a lot of problems, I use the code function a lot and would appreciate its presence in the Quick Reply toolbar.

C'mon, I removed my "Hardy Heroin" avatar for you. Do this for me. :)

I use the code function a lot as well, but use the plain text editor only.

It surely won't hurt to type the tags.

(For what's its worth, I voted that we allow your avatar)

I'm a horrible typist, so it does slow me down, but if it's too much of a hassle to add it, so be it..

I am just a mod, an admin could do it I think.

This question came up before, and was turned down (for that time) so I wouldn't get your hopes up.

Well, I got used to typing all tags manually, so it may improve your skills.

I don't remember where I got the image, but it was a cartoon-ish syringe and I added the Hardy Heroin title with GIMP. FWIW, I've never done heroin (I don't buy illicit drugs), but I am fond of morphine and believe all drugs should be decriminalized, regulated, and taxed, much like alcohol and nicotine (which are more "addictive" than anything on the streets).

I thought it was ridiculous that some people couldn't take the play on words or couldn't put 2 + 2 together and find other meanings in the image. Unfortunately, some users just saw what they wanted to see.

Well, an recovering heroin addict or someones with a loved one addicted would likely find it in poor humour. Thanks for changing it though. If it weren't for the complaint, it would have not been an issue.

You're welcome. I can empathize with the reasons you state much better than the reason originally PM'd to me ("promoting illicit drug use"). So if that was the actual complaint, I don't feel bad about it. I just wanted to be sure I wasn't changing it to satisfy some "holier-than-thou" type person.

When sending PM's about such things, it is likely to quote parts of the CoC, otherwise, it is just opinion. You wouldn't have been asked had there not been a complaint.
