Graphical installer

Hi, everybody!

Don't know if is it the right place for my post, if not sorry for this little spam...


I wonder if Ubuntu is switching to some grafical installer, like Anaconda or something like that any time soon? I have translated Ubuntuguide to latvian and now we are thinking about the translation of Ubuntu installer. As I have hearded Ubuntu uses Debian's Installer, is it realy so and what are your installer related plans for future?

In short, I think it was planned for Breezy but was moved forward due to lack of time and resources, and the hope is that it will make it into Dapper.
