Running Hardy on a 64-bit mobo using on-board GeForce 6100 nForce 430 (rev a2) I have a perplexing problem.
Running in generic-VGA mode I can crank my display to 2048x1536, but I get no 3D acceleration.
Installing the nVidia binary blob gives me 3D acceleration but caps my screen resolution in 1280x1024. I cannot find anything in nvidia-settings to change this.
Is there any way I can get both?
