Problem with installing Office 2007 using Wine - Unhandled exception..!!

Hi,

I am using Ubuntu 8.04 and have Wine 0.9.60 installed.
I am trying to follow the instructions here to install Office 2007.

All goes well until I reach step 11 and type wine setup.exe

PLEASE HELP. I have got Office 2007 to work using these instructions on another machine before. But, I don't know what's going on here. I just started using LINUX 1 week ago and so, I am very new to everything.

That's weird. Does it work if you set your version to Windows XP instead of Vista?

I have tried to even switch to Windows XP. Same thing happens.

Version difference?

It looks like it is either calling an MS .dll, or an older wine .dll verions that does not yet have a function implimented. Check your version numbers.

I had wine-0.9.59 earlier and I removed it using Synaptic Package Manager and installed 0.9.60.
Could that have been a problem? How can I fix it?

PLEASE HELP. I really want to get office 2007 working.

I'm having the exact same issue in Ubuntu 8.04. The only difference is that I have a clean install of Wine version 0.9.59 rather than 0.9.60
