So I have been trying to get Skype to send all audio to Ustream (along with rhythmbox player eventually). I am now hearing that there is an Ubuntu version of Virtual Audio Cables. So would that solve my problems and get all my computer audio to feed to Ustream? I tried to find out about this and can't seem to come up with the right search terms.

Either that or I found it and didn't know it because it has a different name and a description that left em confused. So sorry if this is a stupid question.

your probably think of the jack audio server. i had the same thought myself recently. im going to try it in UbuntuStudio once i get some other thing working. although I'm now sure on how to go about getting skype through jack (I've seen some things about that here on the forums), but haven't tried it yet. Iv'e been having some major problems with getting audio working with ustream, so i thought of using jack... ill try some stuff and see if jack is our answer...

...btw, here's the official website for jack: http://jackaudio.org/
