i am burning the iso now. so i wanted to make sure there was a linux version of buzz/buze. its called aldrin, i sure hope it is on the iso. finding/installing those machines on windows was prob enuf.

Nope, it's not packaged yet for ubuntu, but it's pretty easy to install from source (from their website).

Remarkably, Buzz itself works incredibly well under Wine (better than my old WinXP install!). I use it regularly...

Really? why wouldn't you just install Aldrin? Is the software different (I've only test-run aldrin)?

Aldrin doesn't run Buzz machines, only its own internal ones, so I can't convert all my old tracks. Also, Buzz through Wine means I can use VSTs - which Aldrin can't.
