I also noticed that when I have subscribed to threads and in my CP I click on that thread I will not be put to the first unread message anymore but to the first post. Is this also a bug or a "new feature"?

As far as I am aware, there are three places you can click on in your CP:

Clicking on the thread's title brings you to the first post and always did.
Clicking on the small button in front of the thread's title (down pointing triangle) takes you to the first unread post, if any. If there are none, the button will not show.
Clicking on a similar small button on the right hand side will bring you to the last post within the thread, no matter if already read or not.

I thought it used to be by clicking on the thread title that takes you to the last unread one....
