Hi,
wireless problem on my mother's koala mini - no internet connection.
checked the /etc/network/interfaces file and everything seems to be in order.
unfortunately I am having to deal with the problem long distance over the phone - and no linux geeks on the other end.
anything else i can have them check.

Is your hardware compatable with ubuntu?
Did you configure your router or adapter in system>administration>network?
I always have to go back into there and re-enter my encryption key or I will not have a connection.

Thanks for the reply.
Yes the hardware is compatible - the wireless has worked well for months at a time.
the last time there was a problem, it was the interface file. Not so this time.

Hello.
1. Can you get a wired connection?
2. Please post your interfaces file.
3. Can you *see* any wired connections and just not connect? Or can you see nothing at all?
4. Can you see your wireless access point from another computer?
