I play sounds with pidgin using aplay %s
Yet I do not hear the sounds when I play music. I have tried switching my soudn server to OSS, PulseAudio, and ALSA, but nothing seems to work. What should I do. Also, my music has been skipping around in VLC media player. I'm running Ubuntu 8.04 LTS
EDIT: I tried OSS again and everything's working fine.
