Hi!
Murphy's law is against me today...
My computer crashed while updating to Hardy and I was about to back up things on my iPod (80GB).
However, something has suddenly filled the whole hard drive of my iPod. It's not a file : there is supposed to be only 34 GB of used space on my iPod.
It's some sort of invisible thing.
Here's a list of what I've done today that may have caused this:
* Updated the iPod's firmware, but not using iTunes
* Defragmented the iPod (but the process crashed)
* Modified the iPod's permissions using chmod
Any idea ?
Thanks !
I checked on my iPod, and the device confirms that there are 40 GB of free space on the hard drive. However, my computer disagrees.
I'm using Ubuntu 7.10/8.04 (it crashed while updating).
