Hi All,

I apologize if this message is in the wrong section of the forum. I'm trying to upgrade my version of 7.10 to 8.04. I understand that 8.04 just came out recently and the world is trying to either install or upgrade their version of Ubuntu. I'm getting timeouts from all the upgrade servers...is there any other way or another server (besides the default one) that I can use to upgrade my Ubuntu...or do still have to wait few more days.

Thanks for your help!

There should be plenty. I'd imagine that any apt mirror that updates frequently should have it. There's a list of mirrors here: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Mirrors

Or you could try torrenting it.

Get a torrent client, and download the required version from the following link:

guys, I'm not doing a clean install, I'm using the upgrade path... kind of like windows update feature.
