Well, I done this on the spur of the moment. I downloaded Ubuntu 8.04, and erased my Windows XP & Vista partitions :D. I found this program called "Wine," which allows you to run Windows software trough Linux, so, now I can use iTunes :D. I also installed Microsoft Office, and I find it sad that Windows software runs better on Linux.

Anyways, to the questions..

1) How do I install fonts?
2) How can I make this account have root privs? Like on Ubuntu server all I would have to do is type "sudo root passwd" to change the root password, and login from it, I done that on Ubuntu Desktop, and tried logging in, and it says something like "System administrator cannot login here."
3) Is there anything to defragment the disk? (This may not be needed in Linux, I am so new, so I have no clue).

4) Anything I should know that most new people do not know?

Thanks for your help in advanced...

You login as regular user and type "su" at cli and then enter your password
