Java and flash flash both work. It just runs. Blown away.
What next to check, do I need medibuntu, I've installed ubuntu-restricted-extras.

I've never had a problem with flash or java since Gutsy 64-bit. It worked fine then.

Welcome to the real world :)
I don't know why people keep spreading FUD about flash and java not working...
Glad to know a new x64 user is around :)

Installed x64, all OK. Found both my HP printers AND my HP scanner, amazing. Using KDE4 which is working fine. One small niggle. If this really is for the masses who could be anywhere sitting with a laptop, why can't Ubuntu detect my wireless router connection straight away. The other distro I use is Mandriva 8.1 and that detects above and installs, just a thought.
