8.04 on iMac G3 500mhz?

Am just curious if anyone has tried to install the ppc port of 8.04 on an iMac G3 500mhz (or similar)? Successful? Any caveats?

I think we're counting on you! :)

Hardy is such new territory and some of the old ways of fixing things like dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg don't hold true anymore that we're all kind of pioneers.

We may have to resort to manually editing our xorg.conf files, or using other utilities like xrandr along with special boot parameters.

But as we know, PPC'ers like challenge! Nothing feels better than beating the odds... :)
