Hardy Heron 'brightside' not working

I just upgraded to Hardy Heron from a Gutsy install and everything else works fine.

I wanted to be able to switch workspaces by mousing over the side of the screen, and found 'brightside'. After installing/configuring it, it fails to switch workspaces. The mouse will 'wrap' to the other side if I set it to and the center window pops up, but I stay in the original workspace.
