nvidia 7000m not working after upgrade

Ok, so i upgraded my laptop to 8.04. I have three partitions, my large partition that was running 7.10 (which i upgraded, and am now having the problems with),a hardy test (64) and a hardy (32 for wifi). After the upgrade on the large partition. It now boots in safe mode. In 800/600 and apparently my nvidia card isn't working. Its GeForce, and i really need the thing to work properly. all the restricted drivers are working but the nvidia card apparently isn't working. It works fine in all my other partitions. Please help. and Please make the instructions clear. thanks to all.

Well, I am not sure how to fix the problem. It would appear that what ever driver that 7.10 was using was either disabled, moved when 8.04 installed. there is a command to get the computer to use the driver for the device, but I don't remember what it is. Knowing the people in this forum, someone does.
