Is there any way to get around the Genuine Windows Varification thing?

I have a WinXP disc but I have lost the product key so I had a friend us a keygen and make some. Now my Virtual WinXP continues to have the "You may be a victim of counterfeiting,click here to get your Genuine conversion thing." Is there anyway to install WinXP Pro with these key gens and not have a problem with the verification?

:/ that isn't the problem. I have it on Virtual Box, so I can have full windows compatibilty >_> but I don't know how to get around the validation thing. Should I call them and give them hell saying, "I bought this disk and the product key worked when it was installed the first time, but I had to do a reinstall and now it doesn't work. If I cannot get any help from you, then I am switching to linux <_<."?

Call MS to get a new key.
