Hey Everybody!
I upgraded to Hardy from Gutsy, and now the computer doesn't start.
I get the brownish ubuntu-theme, and the waiting cursor (and it's spinning, so it doesn't freeze, and mouse works too), but thats it.
Nothing else happens....
Any ideas???
Thanks!

I would try booting into recovery mode and checking error logs.
/var/log/xorg.0.log might be a good place to start

Hi,
Same thing here. I upgraded to Hardy and after some time (1 min or so) I get an error saying the CPU got stacked for more than 11 sec and that's all...I had to recover the old Gutsy install to get my laptop working again...any idea why this is happening?

well... now I didn't. And I didn't understand much of it to be honest..
Anything that I can post here that can help?

In here it gets stuck right when the log-in window should open up...
