I guess I needed to post this elsewhere, I ended up following the ubuntu documentation to install apache, mysql and php. So far all is working well but I sure want to make sure I'm secure and not compromising my computer'

Thanks'

I don't know much about xampp, but this might be a good place to start...

A better measure that is accurate, sometimes that actually measure the time taken by a single line of code can be done using a code profiler. A profiler, typically implemented as an extension to the PHP runtime engine, records the delta between the start of a statement and its end, notes the delta between the start and end of a procedure, dumbo (https://disneymovieclub.go.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/AcquisitionProductDetailView?langId=-1&storeId=10001&catalogId=10051&ca) isp providers (http://www.ispcompared.com) and captures the total time required to craft a response to an incoming request. With that, you can find the statement, loop, function, class, or library that is slowing down the application. A better profiler could also measure processes memory usage if process time is not the problem.

If you don't know what you're doing, it's very easy to compromise your computer.

Make sure you double check everything.
