Hi to all,
Well I'm a Ubuntu newbie... I'm using Linux since a while (Fed*ra and R*d H*t), but first timer in desktop linux.
I'm using Ubuntu 8.04 (installed using Wubi... just wonderfull :KS, don't need to partition my HDD).
Everything seems to be working fine except the Wireless Card, I do some research and i found this...
root@nelcab-laptop:/home/nelcab# lshw -C network
*-network

I don't know why it detects on Phy ID 2 another network because it only have a unique Wireless Card (the one on the ID 0).
And so.. when I do a iwconfig it detects this...
root@nelcab-laptop:/home/nelcab# iwconfig

and I have here a wlan0 and wmaster0 (which I don't know why).
Can anyone have an idea how to get it work? I was wondering at the Laptop compatibility wiki of Ubuntu and seems that they don't have any issue with it.
Thanks for any help you can provide me.
Best regards,
P.S. BTW, Wireless Card is enable :)
