Dawn of War has sound but no video

I am kinda new to this whole ubuntu thing and was wondering if I just need to tweak a few things or if it is impossible to fix this sound but no video problem.

Please tell me if you guys need to know anything else

A quick note I have only tried copy over from windows, not actully installing because I bought the games off of direct2drive

Well my first piece of advice is don't buy from D2D XD.
Anyway have you tried Wine's virtual desktop? It often fixes problems like this.
Try that then tell me how it goes.

Thanks for the help man, that worked for the video... now their is no sound lol, o the irony any suggestions?

Are you using OSS or ALSA and are you using PulseAudio or JACK ontop?

I am using ALSA and, I think PulseAudio, i am not sure because currently my parents are holding my computer hostage becuase of my grades although i can sneak on tonight and find out

I am postive now that i am using the above mentioned stuff so idk what that means, if i need to change it please inform me
