cant connect to my windows pc

im having trouble connecting my linux pc, running hardy, and my spare pc which is running xp. I look in the network/windowsnetwork/mshome folder but nothing appears and the both pc´s can access the internet. i need to be able to access its shared folders so i can get to my music and games so any help on how to connect to it would be nice. thanks

to connect type smb://(ip of windows machine) in the nautilus browser
