I just upgraded from 7.10 to 8.04 and my wireless drivers installed, however no networks can be found, i know my network is up, and i know there's at least 3 others it should find. Yet nothing shows up, the light is on. Anyone aware of this problem?

I have an Inspiron 1525 and I think I have a similar problem, just fresh installed Hardy. Does it even recognize your wireless card?
Ubuntu doesn't even recognize my wireless card (only wired connection and modem show up in the network settings). The Wi-Fi indicator light is on and I do have the switch set to on as well.
It reports in Windows as: Dell Wireless 1505 Draft 802.11n WLAN Mini-Card

it appears to be backwards though... when my wireless light is OFF it's actualy ON, and when the light is ON it's actually OFF
