I just wanted to note that putting the Thanks button directly next to the Quick Reply button doesn't seem to work very well. It's too likely to get clicked on accident when users try to do a quick reply. Granted, you can remove thanks, but the point is to avoid the problem to begin with. I think it would be better next to the Quote button.
That is all, thanks (no pun intended).

You can remove thanks if you click it by accident.
As for moving things, the infraction button should be moved if anything is going to be moved.

That's why I mentioned that you CAN remove it, but that's not really the point. It's a bit of a hassle and many people may not even recognize what they clicked.
If by infraction button you mean Report button, then yes, it is a little bit out of the way.

(I just killed a mosquito with the Hardy CD, didn't know it had that feature...)
Back to the issue.
By infraction button I meant the button we use (mainly) to get rid of spammers, only staff have it.

Hehe, better complain to somebody in charge then. Hope you pass on my suggestion as well.

Veiled threats yet...
Is that a new feature with vB 3.7.0 RC4, that the profiles of mods and admins show the number of infractions given and received while the profiles of mere members show the number of thanks given and received?

No, the user profiles have changed in layout, but the information is the same as it was.
The issue with the infraction button is that we often get spam that is a rather long list of junk being sold, and it is a pain to scroll down to give an infraction.

You mean to say that you actually issue infractions without bothering to first buy and test the warez offered in those posts?
Um, yes, I agree that it makes much sense to place the infraction tool where you can reach it with minimum time and effort. After all, we're all frightfully glad that there are people who take care of the forum. The non-spammers are, anyway.
Thank you.

No, I have a large collection of shoes, unlocked iPhones, and other assorted junk. It should come in the mail shortly, I sent the money weeks ago...
Most of the spam is caught immediately because of reports, and the report button is in the same area so it inconviences the plebes as well.

Thanks. Just to mess with us, make it look exactly like the "quote" button and put it in the same spot.

While we're at it, why not write 'quote' on it?

That would be a part of "looking like the quote button". It would have to look like it...to look like it.
