Hi!

I used to be able to get Azureus as the default application in Hardy Beta but since the RC it seems that Firefox refuse to see that i have set Azureus as defULT In nautilus.

(i know transmission is more lighwight bla bla bla but i would really like to be able to just click on a .torrent and Azureus would open)
(It's not that Azureus is better it's just out of spite that i'm refused in Firefox)

Now how? i have tried to open with... but all i get is a filepick dialog.

I too have been struggling with this. I do not particularly care for Transmission and rather prefer Azureus.

Just find azureus in /usr/bin when you get the download popup and it should use it as default.

Go to Edit -> Preferences in Firefox, and select the Applications tab. Find "torrent", and change the action to "azureus". If Azureus isn't in the list, choose "other" and point it to the Azureus executable - probably /usr/bin/azureus

Hope that helps :)

Hey guys, i agree that transmission is ####. But have you tried Deluge. It is very good and I had problems with my ports on some of these Torrent applications. Its got a 'random ports setting' and therefore have never gone back to anything else.

The easy way is to just uninstall transmission.

PS: Try Deluge.
