If you haven't noticed the Ubuntu servers are getting hammered right now and are a bit slow to respond. You can help everyone by downloading with a torrent and then seeding for others. You'll get your download faster and help others while also limiting the impact on the Ubuntu servers.

Yeah, it really can't be stressed enough. Everyone should get on the torrents and seed. Heck I've been running Hardy since beta and I'm still seeding the 32bit image. Join the swarm!

Good post since the main site is down. I'm awaiting new pc base unit Saturday, so gonna try out the 64 bit version. Running 32 bit bit on old pc for a few weeks, updated yesterday to final .

Torrents were very fast. I have listed the steps I followed using torrents: http://ptcbus.blogspot.com/2008/04/upgrading-from-ubuntu-710-gutsy-gibbon.html

This is without a doubt one of the fastest torrents I have ever downloaded. Thanks, everyone, for seeding!

The more you seed the faster it is for everyone. Save the main server's bandwith, use the torrents!
