I'm using compiz fusion on Gutsy Gibbon. Everything is working OK as far as I can see except for one thing. When I open the Package or Update Manager or do anything that requires me to enter my password, there's a white box that appears in the middle of my screen after I enter the password. It's like the password box cuts out a portion of the screen and just leaves it white.
This is easily resolved by opening the compiz settings manager, disabling and enabling the 'windows decoration' plugin. I've also tried changing settings within the plugin such as shadow opacity and that does the trick, but the next time I'm prompted to enter a password for an update, the white box appears again and I have to go through that cycle again.
Anyone else have an issue similar to that, and if you resolved it, how did yo u go about it? I like to resolve it permanently.
