mic audio with skype

with skype i get video and voice. on other end video is present but no audio. i used skypes test phone call and did not hear my recorded voice i am using a logitech webcam. any help would be appreciated

I've had similar trouble....You'll find that in skype you can select which mic you are using (options-->devices, I think). You might find it's using your system mic which is why you can't hear anything, you need to tell it to use the mice on your logitech.
