i sent for a free ubuntu cd and got "ubuntu pc edition". can i boot this on my ibook g4?
If not, where can i get "ubuntu mac edition'?

If not, where can i get "ubuntu mac edition'? You have a PPC Mac. See the Sticky for information on where to download. They stopped making official releases for PPC awhile back.
