I used to be able to view google videos in full screen in firefox on my new ubuntu install and the only changes I made I think may have affected are those I made in xorg.conf and my installation of VLC 0.8.6 and the other files recommended to install by the synaptic package manager. VLC probably wouldn't affect google videos though because it's flash?
I already tried uninstalling the vlc mozilla plugin but it didn't make any difference. I can still watch google videos but not in fullscreen mode. When I go to full screen I get audio but the window looks like this http://imagebin.org/16895
Here is my current xorg.conf http://pastebin.com/f798197a0
Also, I know I can use miro for videos as soon as I make it work in ubuntu (there's a guide on their homepage) but I'd still like things in firefox to work as they used to/should!
