libsasl-modules-plain - Can't find package

Can't find this package: libsasl-modules-plain
and libsasl7 I kinda need them for breezy?

I found one here: http://packages.debian.org/oldstable/devel/libsasl-modules-plain

Question is how do I install it from the .gz package?

These libs are important to me as my virtual mail is down until I get these. Not very well planned upgrade to breezy (yes i followed the instructions) as it failed and I lost everything. Had to re-build only to find that half the required library are missing. I have a perfectly good Windows with mecury32 ready to implement.

Not complaining just telling it as it is.

My other alternative was to go back to Hoary only to discover once again errors with repositories..

Getting very frustrating...

Could do with a little help to resolve the missing libs.
