I have found some compiz plugins I want on their website, but I cant figure out how to get them...
HELP!!

A good way is to



sudo apt-get install compizconfig-settings-manager

synaptic package manager, search compiz, download the setting manager

im a n00b too but im learning fast lol

ive already got that and everything, it just doesnt have all ofthe plugins on their website.

You'll get all the plugins that are stable and safe to be used. With Hardy Heron, you'll get Compiz 0.7.4 (or so), and a lot of plugins, like 3D windows for example.

Hardy Heron (Ubuntu 8.04), will be released tomorrow, so not much waiting:popcorn:

You have to install compiz from git. Please see this:

It is currently tested on Hardy.
