My dell inspiron laptop has a broadcom wireless card. I have set up a network between this machine and the desktop computer running XP next to it.
The wireless card was working before through ndiswrapper. Today I noticed it couldn't see the network at all. Neither can Vista, which is also on this laptop. The only major change in the computer recently, is that it is now running arch linux, as well as vista and ubuntu. The wireless card doesn't yet work in arch. The arch install couldn't have damaged the hardware could it?
Any Ideas? It would suck if my wireless card was broken.

I missed one point.
I tested the wireless card in the desktop with another laptop, so the problem is the laptop.

Solved. Wireless card works better when it's turned on. The switch was a keyboard shortcut, so I missed it until a few minutes ago.
