Hey, I purchased a copy of SC3000 a while back in a jewel case at Staples. It was a windows version, but after I switched to linux I am trying to install as many of my games as possible on linux. I ehard this has native support through a Loki Installer, and I checked it out on their site. I was sorrowful to find that their site is dead.

I have been using LIFLG to get many of my other installers for games like UT, Quake I and II and so forth. I heard SC3k could be put on it too, but there is no installer I can find. Do I need to buy a linux only version for it to work on linux, or is there an installer somewhere?

Thanks, Arcanis.

I don't believe there is native support, but you can find a lot of loki installers at http://www.liflg.org/?catid=1

I did a quick check and Sim City 3k isn't listed in native, but I could be wrong.

You do know that UT (1999, GOTY, 2k3 and 2k4) are all supported natively on Linux?

the only problem I see with this, is that you have to buy the game again... :)
The site doesn't sport the installer, sadly :( (at least I couldn't find it)
