trying to print to Photosmart 7660 on XP box

I have an HP Photosmart 7660 attached via USB to my XP computer. It is set to share and has a share name of Printer4. I installed the Unix printer service on the XP machine.

I launch CUPS and can add new printer and browse to the printer via MSHOME>Darwin>HP_Photosmart7660 and choose the driver from the list Ubuntu provides. I click "print test page" but nothing happens.

Am I missing something?

well, uninstalled and reinstalled CUPS and now it is working...go figure
