Do I have to burn a CD and boot from it or is there some way to boot from the iso and install from the hard drive?

You have to burn a CD and boot from it. Follow this guide:

I know how to burn an install CD. I'm just wondering if there's some way to forgo the process. After all, there's the iso right on the hard drive. Do I really need the intermediate step of the install disk?

Thanks for the link and it looks to be more trouble then it's worth.

That's why I suggested you burn a CD. If you don't have a burner, you could try this:

If you are in windows use a program like Daemon tools to mount the image and install from inside of the windows os. This method actually works with a lot of operating systems, even XP and Vista.
