Hi,

I am trying to view full-screen mode at hulu.com, using Firefox 3 Beta 5 on Hardy Heron. When I click on full-screen, I briefly see full-screen, with the click 'Esc' to exit, and then I am back to the regular view. Does anyone know what causes this, or if there is a fix?

Thanks,

Ed Parlette

Graphics card is NVidia GeForce 8800GT with third-party drivers.

Has there been anything done for this problem? Or is there a work around at least?

I know it's been a couple months since your post but in case you havent found a solution i fixed my problem by opening Compiz Manager and disabling

General Settings-> Undirect Full Screen Windows

It's the same problem in Puppy Linux. Mint 7 works full screen.

Cool. This also worked for me, although I didn't even have compiz enabled in the first place. I installed the compizconfig-settings-manager, saw that the direct windows option was already unchecked, and now I can full screen haha :)
