Ive upgraded to KDE4 and this broken my java packages. I have a missing dep for the plugin so I cant use java in firefox or swiftweasel. Ive tried to re instal sun-java6-bin and sun-java6-jre still I dont have the very specific plugin file created so I can copy it to the folder of the firefox plugins any ideas anyone else having this issue? Is there any other workaround cause I have JRE and JDK working (netbeans as example works great) so all I need is the plugin which by some reason is not created :/
Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

Did you try the instructions at the bottom of this page? (https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Java#head-6524a0c56845e40dccd32676dad42830325e5707) Apparently it creates the plugin but doesn't put it in Firefox's plugins folder.

I should also mention that I have read that only the IcedTea version of Java has the 64-bit plugin.
