Disconnecting the internet frequently

:confused: Hi,

I am new guy to ubuntu.
I have been using reliancebroadband wimax connection for 2 past months. I just configured the ips as static ips in ubuntu.

Daily i used to access net thru ubuntu. For the first time it was working fine, able to access the net thru ubuntu. But after some time it's not.. :(.

I was struggling for the solution.

I used network manger to ping to that static ips. but no response.

Any help would be great...

try installing wicdhttp://wicd.sourceforge.net/ it is better than networkmanager.
