Hi,
Just got a PC (no OS) to put mythbunto onto. If I download the ISO version, then when I run it does it format the drive for me?

To clarify: it'll ask first. It won't reformat your disk without asking :)

The mythbunto formating/partition creating is failing. I have the old 40G drive + a newer 300G drive (with lots of video). I went through the screens and pointed it at the 40G drive for a guided installation. It seems to realise it needs to format the drive. After I click proceed with installation however a minute after it comes back with partition creation failed....](*,)
Where to from here. Should I find a better partition/formatting tool within the boot up application screens (i.e. after I boot from Mythbunto ISO) and try to use this?
Thanks

I'm still stuck
Just tried going through the installation again. I'm creating one large primary root partition of 38G and one swap primary partition of 2GB. About a minute into the installation I get:
"the ext3 file system creation in partition #1 of SCSCI1 (0,0,0) (sda) failed"
Can anyone help? Is there a disk check I should run on the drive? Is there a way to try use of a different partition tool?
