Hi,
I have a backend set up with a PVR-150 and a Nova-T. I normally watch TV (both live and recorded) on my computer, which just runs the frontend. The system is quite fast (Q6600, 8GiB memory, 7950 GX2).
However, when watching videos (using the "High Quality" recording profile) the audio and video is noticeably out of sync. CPU usage never goes above 9%. It seems to be worse when watching media recorded on my PVR-150.
I have tried mounting the directory on the backend and then watching them using mplayer/xine to no avail. I think that it is slightly better when enabling frame dropping in mplayer, however am unsure.
Can anyone help me?
Regards, Freddie.
