RapidWeaver alternative

I'm quite fond of RapidWeaver for the OS X. It's simple to use and powerful. I really like how you can apply styles really easily. Is there a close equivalent for Linux. I'm thinking that there isn't :(

I'm aware of Kompozer and Nvu - but they're far from close.

This is your best bet. Kompozer is the sustained fork of Nvu, and should be quite functional for you. It's cross-platform, so you can try it out in OSX first (although IIRC, it doesn't have an Universal/Intel build yet).

As for saying that most Linux users would use a text editor to build web pages, that's like saying that most LInux users would give a snarky, elitist answer instead of an informative and useful one: it might be true, but since it doesn't help anyone, why say it?

He already said that he didn't want to use Kompozer anyway.
