I've been a fan of N (http://www.thewayoftheninja.org/n_downloads.html) for a few years now, but it seems that the linux version has a bit of lag in it. The documentation even mentions that there is a funky sound issue related, and to try playing audio through xmms in the background to alleviate it,
However, if I grab the Windows version, it plays flawlessly under wine. The funny thing I noticed, however, is that the Linux client runs Flash6, but the Windows version says Flash7 in the game window (this is a flash based game, btw). Weird.
I'm running Flash 9.0.124.0, in th OS.
Hopefully, version 1.5 (http://www.thewayoftheninja.org/n_future.html) will be better, with the source included. Perhaps a proper deb can be packaged & optimized?
Anybody else run into this problem?
