Hi guys,

I recently installed Vista on my machine with a clean install of XP on another partition on the same drive. I wanted to restore the backup I made a while ago so I popped in the Norton Ghost CD and restored it to my XP partition. But now I don't have a boot manager. It goes straight to XP and I tried the automatic repair from the Vista Install CD. No help. Also, I ran "fixmbr" and "fixboot" from the Vista CD command line. That command doesn't even exist anymore.

Can someone help me get my bootloader back?

So I ran the boot repair thing from the Vista CD and now it boots up in Vista. Still no boot loader though.

install easybcd to vista and you will find configuring the boot stuff a lot easier!
