Only in recent firmware has it been added for PS3 control, you could try it with infrared - there is alot of open firmware available for the PSP thanks to the psp hacking community, if you search for dark alex, or psp OE firmware the people behind that may be able to help you on this issue.

I'm looking for something like this too, preferably usb. I've been using homebrew on the psp since the days of 1.5 :P

Maybe we run a lua script that writes to a file and then a bash script that reads it from within linux and passes the data to the game or emu on the pc?

I don't want to use the wifi one for windows as I am not always near a network when I need a controller.I also don't want to buy a new usb controller when I have 3 homebrew capable psp laying around.

Any ideas or help anyone?

Bumping this to see if there's any point in me keeping my firmware version 1.5 with Homebrew PSP or selling it on the market.
