I've just gotten Mythbuntu 8.04 Beta up and running. So far I really like it.
Something I'm missing in the backend though is an easy way of sorting out my channel list.
I use a satellite dish for Astra 19°E and Astra 23.5°E, so a channel scan finds all my TV and radio stations but also boatloads of rubbish channels. I need a convenient way to dispose of, e.g. 3900 useless channels to keep only the 100 ones I really use. The Mythtv user interface is no fun at all to sort out so many channels (plus, I have not found a way to preview channels in the backend setup). The UI may be great for 30 analogue channels, but for 1000s of digital channels it's horrible (unless I missed something)...
Is there maybe a text file I can edit to wipe out all of the channels I don't use?
Have I missed a more convenient way of editing the channel list?
