This guy has to be using himself as a reference when talking about dumb people. I do have to say that Ubuntu is the one of the most noob friendly distro's out there. I am using Suse 10 now and it was pretty easy to set up also. I am sure though that cutting my teeth on Ubuntu helped make it easier for me to figure out.

Dumb people may be able to run it but smart people can use it to it's full potential.

This guy has to be using himself as a reference when talking about dumb people. I think the writer is much less dumb than the article leads us to believe. That's typical of reporters, and even more so of TV presenters. If they have a chance to,say, fly a helicopter or something they aleays try to pretend to be useless at it.
Don't know why, maybe so they don't appear to be superior to their audience?
